10 breathtaking holiday homes

Summer is the perfect time to indulge in dreams of beautiful holiday homes. And that’s just as well, because we’re taking you around the world to discover some breathtakingly sumptuous residences.

1 – Palombaggia, Corsica, France

Our journey begins in Corsica, on the heights of Palombaggia. Nestled in the heart of the maquis, this sumptuous villa offers an exceptional view of the sea. Interior designer Céline Boullenger has done a magnificent job on this house, using natural materials and colours. Take a look at the result:

2 – Algarve, Portugal

Head for the south of Portugal, in the Algarve region, to discover this beautiful holiday home, lost in the middle of olive groves. Natural colours and materials have been favoured here, as if to be in harmony with the luxuriant nature that surrounds the residence.

3 – Marbella, Spain

Let’s move on to the other side of the Portuguese border, and stop in Marbella, Spain. Here too, the decorator chose pure colours and natural materials such as wood and wicker, in keeping with the setting and the view outside. The presence of Hans J. Wegner’s Wishbone chair in many rooms of the house is noteworthy.

5 – Saint Barth, Caribbean

Our world tour continues with a stopover in Saint Barth, in the Caribbean. This house with a view of the sea makes us dream: very well chosen relaxation furniture (hanging armchair, deckchairs, hammock), and a refined and delicate decoration. Let’s cross the ocean and visit this incredible home in Essaouira, Morocco. Here, everything is designed to make guests feel comfortable and enjoy their stay. The stone walls give an undeniable cachet to this building where styles are mixed to perfection: the industrial furniture invites itself in this oriental atmosphere accentuated by the warm colours of the fabrics.

7 – Bali, Indonesia

After Europe, Oceania and America, here we are in Asia, and more precisely on the island of Bali, in Indonesia.

Large rooms, a warm and exotic atmosphere, this is how we can define this dream house. The whole house is oriented towards nature with plants and trees inside the house, as well as furniture made of wood, wicker and rope.

To complete this stunning decoration, ethnic motifs are used in the fabrics of the cushions and rugs.
