An interior in the colours of autumn
Autumn is just around the corner! And how can we not look forward to welcoming it into our homes?
The trees and the ground are taking on beautiful orange hues, the temperatures are dropping (much to the delight of those who love long cocooning evenings!) and the need to prepare our homes for the new season is felt. With autumn, you can finally get out your plaids, your favourite book and the hot chocolate that goes with it!
More concretely, autumn, as opposed to summer and its eccentricities, is an opportunity to create a more comforting and cosy decoration. This season invites us to curl up in fleecy textiles and warm up after long, cold days. A few quick and easy steps are all it takes to make the transition to a more autumnal décor ! The colour palette takes on an autumnal feel, with accessories given a patina of orange, ochre and old pink that remind us of the foliage outside. The floor is warmed up with cosy rugs, and we swap our summer accessories for beautiful brass objects (long live candleholders and hanging baskets!) or natural materials. You can also play the card of the accumulation of soft textures: cushions, plaids, synthetic fur rugs, … These few tips will allow you to create a real cocoon to spend a warm winter period!
Autumn allows us to warm up and soften our interiors in anticipation of the winter blues, which is all the more reason to welcome it into our homes with these inspirations!
